Self-contained, mobile bench, to study Francis turbine characteristics. Direct coupling generator with clutch to simulate actual turbine generator operation; voltmeter, ammeter, wattmeter. Power, heads and speeds are measured by self-cooling prony brake with spring balance or generator output. Francis turbine 1200W brake power; 800W electrical power. Bronze runner and casing, adjustable guide vanes, transparent side. Stainless steel shaft with mechanical seal. Centrifugal pump. Digital flow and speed indicators, pressure gauge, water storage tank, stainless steel piping. Control cabinet, leak detector. 380V, 50Hz.
