Vacuum Pump, Hand Operated

Combination of vacuum pump syringe and plate mounted on a non-skid base. Useful for creating vacuum inside enclosures placed on the pump plate such as bell-jar and study the physical phenomena related to vacuum thereof. A metal barrel has piston mounted on its one end and the other end having a metal block on top of which, thick plastic pump plate is mounted. A stop-cock on fixed alongside the metal block facilitates release of vacuum.
